STAYING IN SHAPE

by: oakenevents

Christmas is barely a month away, a time for celebration and overindulgence, which leads to substantial weight gain. Here are a few tips to help us stay in shape.
Avoidance: Totally avoid biscuits, chocolates, pizza and sweets especially if you are the type that easily adds weight

Exercise: 30mins of daily exercise is a good way to stay in shape especially if done religiously
Discipline: If you must indulge in fatty foods then you must take as little as possible, this requires a lot of discipline

Go for soft: Try to alternate alcoholic drinks with a soft diet drink. Alcohol has lots of calories and it also lowers your blood sugar levels, which makes you more vulnerable to feelings of hunger

Late Night Eating: Now, eating and drinking late at night is one of the easiest way to pile on the weight, most of us know the amount of effort it takes to get back in shape. If you have little discipline when it comes to food during the festive season, do try and drink lots of water or stick to fruit salad at night

Make a menu plan for the festive period and try to stick with healthy ingredients…
xoxo
