A peep into 2013 wedding trends
Shhhhhh…..Now do not say we did not tell you. The wedding colour for 2013 is Mint. Yes! We just said it out. In 2013 this soft color will be seen on wedding invitations, bridesmaid dresses, flowers, and wedding decor. To make the theme more than just the color, mint will also make its way into cakes and cupcakes and even centerpieces.

With the divorce rate hovering right around fifty percent these days, the task of keeping the spark in marriage alive until your golden anniversary can be a challenge. Couples who are in loving marriages will tell you that it takes a lot of love, respect and work to maintain the spark in marriage

Make your marriage successful and keep its spark alive. Try sending the kids if any to a friends for the weekend and having an alone time, go for movies together, plan a weekend in a romantic hotel, travel together and most importantly pray together always.

Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week Africa 2012
Africa Fashion Week, which was sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, took place on the 24th to the 28th of October. Over forty designers displayed their creations from Kente cloths, safari theme to native fabrics with lots of detailing. It indeed brought designers from the African continent to the forefront showcasing talents and potentials.

Baby shower
From Diaper cakes to baby bottles to be used as glasses for the day organizing a baby shower is only complete when the music for the day is baby songs heralding the coming of a star (smiles) Make the cake like a star on the Walk of Fame ,a diaper cake or little fun looking cupcakes. Have décor items saying something like “a star will be born” or something similar, or maybe even the baby’s name if it’s already been picked out. If you have already done a scan and you know the sex of the baby then gifts may be easier to choose by guests. Whatever theme you choose make sure the To-be–mom feels treasured
